How Will This Workshop Help Me?
These are live, highly interactive online learning experiences designed for those who are new to writing and selling professional and management liability coverage. You will learn coverage fundamentals in a fun, collaborative way with a group of agents and brokers from across the country. This is a series of 3 classes that are one hour long each.
Our goal is to give you a base-level knowledge of these coverages so you can sell and properly advise your clients. We will delve into common industry and coverage terms. Please be aware that the series is not designed to teach you about USLI products or guidelines; however, we are happy to provide you with this information outside of the series.

Workshop sessions are approximately an hour in duration and are offered once a day throughout the dates listed. We encourage you to join with your camera turned on, unmuted, and ready to engage with our instructors to get the most out of your time with us.

STEP 2: Cisco WebEx will be used for the virtual sessions. Invitations will be sent to you at least a week in advance for your WebEx sessions.

Session 1: Introduction to Professional and Management Liability: What Coverages Should You Sell Customers?
Confused by the array of coverages available to sell to insureds? Every business is unique, so how can you tell which coverages are most important to each? Let’s simplify it. We’ll look at the different professional and management liability coverages available to help you better advise your customers.

Session 2: What Are Claims-made Policies?
Claims-made policies are commonly used to provide professional and management liability coverage. However, if they are not used properly, they can leave insureds with coverage gaps and uninsured claims. Join us to learn the mechanics of claims-made forms and the associated terminology. You’ll explore how they’re different from other forms and how you can ensure you are not leaving your customers with coverage gaps.

Session 3: Translating Professional Lines Jargon
Learn the meaning behind commonly used insurance terms to communicate better with your companies and customers.
