VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

How Will This Workshop Help Me?

This seven session workshop is a live, highly interactive online learning experience. Whether you are new to leading a sales team or have years of experience; we invite you to share your experience and learn from others. The foundation of this workshop is based upon the book Monday Morning Leadership by David Cottrell. We will take these foundational leadership lessons and delve into how we can apply them to build, lead and effect change within sales teams.

This workshop is designed for any sales manager who leads individuals, sales teams or is being developed to lead a sales team. Each session will take place live over video.

Workshop sessions are approximately an hour in duration and are offered on Wednesdays throughout the dates listed. We encourage you to join with your camera turned on, unmuted, and ready to engage with our instructors to get the most out of your time with us.

STEP 2: Please complete our Pre-event evaluation so we can best meet your needs and expectations.

STEP 3: Read Monday Morning Leadership by David Cotrell. *A hard copy of the book will be mailed to all attendees upon registration. You may also reference our Monday Morning Leadership reference guide for a quick refresher on the book’s main takeaways. We suggest having this accessible during the sessions.
 
STEP 4: Join each live session on Webex the day of by opening the calendar item and clicking the meeting link in the invitation.

Session 1: Welcome, Setting Expectations and Story Share

Wednesday, September 18 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. ET

As a leader, your team looks to you for guidance and direction. Does your team know the team and company goals and how they relate to their roles? In this session, we will build a foundation of trust and confidence with each other and identify beliefs and values that shape our selling and leadership styles.

 

Session 2: Monday Morning Leadership

Wednesday, September 25 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. ET

In this session, we will facilitate a group discussion of the learning lessons from David Cottrell’s Monday Morning Leadership. A copy of the book will be provided to you in advance of the workshop.

Session 3: Building Your All-star Team

Wednesday, October 2 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. ET

When was the last time you reviewed your recruiting, interviewing and hiring process? Assembling the right team is a challenging task that requires self-reflection and an assessment of how your current process works. In this session, we will discuss the fundamentals of building a great team and key characteristics to look for when recruiting. The group will share lessons learned and provide strategies to implement moving forward

Session 4: Creating a Culture of Accountability

Wednesday, October 9 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. ET

The level of accountability in a team is directly related to the leader’s level of accountability. How are you doing? In this session, we’ll explore the challenges and common pitfalls sales managers experience when it comes to accountability, as well as ways to improve.

Session 5: Developing a Coaching Process and Applying Purposeful Communication

Wednesday, October 16 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. ET

Trust is the foundation for giving and receiving feedback. Once established, delivering positive and constructive coaching can happen as needed, all while building confidence along the way. In this session, we will explore trust-building tactics and how to create and foster a coaching-based sales environment. We are always communicating. Our words, our body language our actions all send a message to our team. Purposeful communication ensures that we deliver the message we intend and can make or break our ability to effect change within our teams. In this session we will discuss the connection between purposeful communication and changing behaviors, action and attitudes in your team.

Session 6: Keeping Sales Teams Motivated: What Works?

Wednesday, October 23 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. ET

Each of your team members is unique and so is what motivates them. This session will explore how to uncover what drives your employees to motivate themselves to reach their goals and what strategies are working for other sales managers

Session 7: Continuing Education and USLI Resources for Sales Teams

Wednesday, October 30 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. ET

This virtual conference is just one of many ways USLI can help you hire, train and develop a great sales team.
